2009 Parade of Homes
 The 2009 Parade of Homes – April 18-26
featured 82 model homes from 37 area builders, spruced up and open to prospective buyers. This year’s Parade had several new features. The event offered buyers an impressive new lineup of homes in a wide array of prices, and the chance to win drawings for $5,000 in down payment cash and a $10,000 shopping spree at Ashley Furniture HomeStore.

2009 Parade of Homes Winners
Builders won 25 gold and 20 silver awards at the 2009 Parade of Homes Award Banquet May 7.

Lennar Homes received three gold and one silver award, the most awards received by one builder at the 2009 Parade of Homes Awards banquet. Accepting the awards were (left to right) Walter Hawkins, Tim Wolgemuth, Josh Rogers (center, back), Angela Olmos (center, front), Barbara Moore and Teresa Santos.

Collins Builders took home a gold for the 1863 C model in the $187,000 to $198,999 category, and a silver award for the 2067 C in the same category. Left to right are Joe Wiseman, Joe Collins, Wayland Wiseman, Ashley Collins and Adam Collins.

Ronald Pauline (left), Metro North Community Development Corp., accepted two gold awards in a tie in the $130,000-$142,000 CDC and non-profit category. Jim Doyle presented the awards for both the Fairfield and Cedar model homes.
